HWC Team Finland alumni success stories.

 Niko,the Captain of the Milan 2009 team. Niko took two years to make his way to Team Finland, but when he did he became captain of the team and a part of the success of their time in Milan. He works with his family now, and continues to play with the Stray Dog team all year round. He is also a member of a third division team and gets some playing time as a substitute, hoping to make his way to a starting position.



 Mika, who played for Team Finland in Milan, Italy in 2009 went back to school to finish his high school work and is hoping to continue his studies in university.

 Jari, goalkeeper for Team Finland in 2008 in Australia has stayed with the program and shows up to train the Team Rio goalkeepers. Since his time in Australia, Jari has lost more than 60 pounds through training, diet and exercise and maintaining a good lifestyle.



Anne and Benku both traveled to Australia in 2008 representing Team Finland. Anne was honored with the Fair Play award for her play and now plays for a women's club team in Helsinki. She and Benku continue to enjoy their lives together and are there supporting Team Rio.
